Heal the Black Woman: Breaking Generational Curses
Since slavery there have been tensions and issues built into black mother and daughter relationships. Around Mother's Day there are often Mother/Son dances and events and Fathers and Daughters have their events as well but Mothers and Daughters are seldom thought of at this time.
